The narcissist has finally unblocked your number or social media, and no they didn’t make a mistake.
They also haven’t lamented how badly they behaved before, and they’re coming back to apologise and acknowledge what a fool they were for treating you that way.
A narcissist unblocks your number in preparation to hoover you, and it’s often not the first time they’ve done it.
As ugly as this is, try not to take it personally as every narcissist is stuck in a ‘doom loop’ of returning to those they have abandoned in the past to try and get back with them as if nothing happened, only to do it all over again.
This is why you should forget about it even if they try to flatter you with a grovelling apology.
It doesn’t matter how good it is if they are going to put you through all that misery again by default.
Leave them on read, block them on everything from your side, and you have just dodged a rather nasty bullet that would have caused you a lot of heartache.
