UK Government issue Warning to Prepare for Coming Disasters

The public are urged to stockpile for power outages and possible cyber attacks.

Scarcity, the threat of war and disease have all been ramping up in recent years, and on the 22nd of May 2024 the UK government announced that every household must begin to gather items for emergency power outages, water shortages and potential cyber attacks.

Lets look at some important details you should prepare for in a crisis that haven’t been examined in any great depth yet.

A World Without Supply Chain Availability

Even if you are financially secure, in this global economy so much of what we need to cook a good meal is actually imported.

Without a plan B in case supply lines fail stemming the flow of incoming produce to the country, you would be left with little food unless you had bought extra that doesn’t expire such as rice, beans or tinned goods.

During the difficult times of 2020 I myself found shelves empty in the supermarkets.

A lingering reminder that is still around today that even if you are able to buy groceries the food may not always be readily available. This is why I decided to never get caught out like that again…
