You don’t need to confront the narcissist in your life with a barrage of rejection and curses. Quite the opposite is actually far more healthy and effective.

The narcissist might be connected to an entire network of people that you get on with really well and need in your life, such as other close family members.

Alternatively, you could be married to the love of your life and the narcissist is an in-law.

It’s not ideal, but you can’t cut off a narcissist without destroying most of your life in either scenario… or can you?

Take Back Your Power

Remember that you are the star of your own show, the narcissist doesn’t have anything to do with it.

With this in mind, make the narcissist an option in your life.

When they invite themselves to things or try to tell you what to do, let them know that ‘it’s an option’.

You can also tell them ‘You’ll think about it’ to stop being dominated by their power games.
