Exposing a Narcissist Is a Bad Idea… Unless They’ve Already Done It

You wouldn’t usually be thanked for exposing a narcissist, typically a rejection coupled with “You’re too sensitive” is the best that you can expect.

But there is an exception to this rule, and that’s when it gets criminal.

If there is any situation at all when the police show up (or would do if they knew about it), then the victim-bashing act completely falls apart, and their lies are exposed.

I would like to stress that this applies to a typical narcissist who has convinced everybody in town that they are squeaky clean, totally sane, and absolutely not a con artist.

This does not apply to the other type of malignant narcissist who is also secretly a career criminal.

That’s a whole other post, but the main difference is that the enablers that this kind surround themselves with also lean towards criminal activity, so they won’t care either way.

The squeaky-clean, victim-bashing narcissist might tell lies to try to get you arrested.
