I've seen it happen, and sadly they fall silently, especially the enablers. You might know them to usually be making a lot of noise, but when they are lied to or about by the narcissist and it all comes out that they were being used to the entire time, they slink away in shame and silence because they don't want anyone to know that the narcissist did them like that.

This isn't just because of what they've done, it's also because they've spent a very long time fighting the narcissists corner, only for everyone else to be proved right about them.

There are two ways a narcissist falls;
