Part of what makes the enabler crew so deadly is that they're helpless; they can't fact check or question the narrative, hence the parroting behaviour.

But I have seen what happens when a narcissist confesses that they lied to them about someone they encouraged the enabler to target, and these enabler typically don't know what to do with themselves after that.

Makes me wonder what we're really looking at here... could it be some kind of idolatry?
